Day One

On the shores of Lake Wakatipu and surrounded by the majestic peaks of the Southern Alps. Queenstown received its name from being" fit for Queen Victoria" Nowadays Queenstown is recognized as New Zealand’s premier visitors destination. On your arrival your pre booked rental car will be waiting for you at the airport. From there it is a short drive in to the centre of Queenstown to your accommodation which will be your base for the next fournights.

Day Two

QueenstownAfter breakfast it an approx. 20 minute drive to your first round of golf on New Zealand soil. Queenstown Golf Course. Situated in the amphitheatre of the Remarkable Mountains and offering a unique opportunity to play on what is internationally regarded as one of the more picturesque golf courses in the world. The course is all but encircled by the deep blue waters of Lake Wakatipu and has a stunning "back drop" at every hole. Photo opportunities are plentiful so don’t forget your camera! The balance of your day is free to enjoy Queenstown and the many activities it has to offer.

 

Day Three

Millbrook golf Course18 holes of pure magic await you today as take to the Greens at Millbrook Golf Course. Designed by internationally renowned professional Sir Bob Charles all again whilst being surrounded by some of the most breath taking scenery on the planet and a mere 15 minute drive from your accommodation. The golf course at Millbrook exploits the dramatic terrain fully, delivering worldclass golf. Millbrook is quite simply a fantastic golf resort.

 

 

Day Four

Numerous observation decks around the complex offer breathtaking views of Coronet Peak & The Remarkables, over Queenstown and across Lake Wakatipu to Cecil and Walter Peaks. Truly magnificent and awe-inspiring. Today is free day, where you can enjoy more of the stunning scenery and activities Queenstown has to offer. For the adrenaline junkies why not try out Kawarau Bridge Bungy. If you've heard of Bungy, then you've heard of the Kawarau Bridge, home to the world's first and most famous of leaps. Forwards, backwards, by yourself, or with a friend.......it's up to you. It's also the only Bungy in Queenstown where you can choose to bob above the water, touch it, or get fully immersed. For more laid back activities why not admire the views from The Skyline Gondola which carries visitors high above Queenstown to the Skyline complex located on Bob's Peak. Day Five

ArrowtownToday you leave your accommodation in Queenstown but before departing from this incredible area you have time for one last round of golf in the picturesque golf course in Arrowtown. This club is situated in one of New Zealand’s most historic and scenic regions. Surrounded by mountains the 18 hole course has superb views from every fairway. Each hole has its own attraction and the diverse and challenging course attracts players from all over the world. Historic stone cottage ruins nestle amongst towering trees, a legacy of Arrowtown's pioneers. Arrowtown's link with its goldmining past is highlighted in the names of holes: Sons of Fortune and Golden Arrow, which border the once rich, goldbearing Arrow River.After you round you will then self drive through the stunning terrain to your next venue – Lake Tekapo.

 

Day Six

After breakfast you are booked into play at The Mackenzie Golf Club. New Zealand's highest 9 hole course and one of the most scenic with a sub alpine backdrop, and great views of the surrounding snow capped mountains including Mt Cook. ! Also to play is The Braemar Station Golf Cross Course which is surrounded by stunning vistas of Mount Cook and Lake Pukaki. After this self drive to your next 3 nights accommodation in Christchurch

 

Day Seven

ClearwaterToday we have arranged for you to play one of the most incredible courses. Clear Water Famous internationally as the home of the HSBC New Zealand PGS Championship and all only approximately a 7 minute drive from your accommodation. Playable yearround, the course meanders around a succession of spring-fed lakes and troutfilled streams, with uninterrupted views of the spectacular Southern Alps. With five tee positions Clear Water suits players of all abilities

 

Day Eight

Today is the turn of Terrace Downs Golf Course situated in the Rakiaia River Gorge. Mountain views stretch to the horizon, a shimmering lake mesmerizes and lush fairways beckon. Terrace Downs offers a par 72, 18-hole championship golf course, rated as one of the top courses and golfing destinations in New Zealand. Based at the foothills of the Southern Alps, there are very few scenic alpine courses like it.

 

Day Nine

RussleyToday you leave the South Island and fly north to Hawkes Bay. But before you go you have time to play one of the "old boys" of New Zealand golf. Established in 1928 Russley is now 79 years old and stands as one of New Zealand premier courses. Russley has hosted many prestigious tournaments and visitors over the years. In the 1960’s and 70’s the Wills Masters and Garden City Classic professional tournaments were hosted at Russley on 12 occasions. Players including Peter Thomson, Kel Nagle and Bob Charles were regular competitors. Russley continues to host prestigious national events, the last being the Women’s Interprovincials in 2006. Your evening flight to Napier will take approximately one and twenty minutes and your rental car will be waiting your arrival at Napier Airport. A short drive will take you to your night’s accommodation.

 

Day Ten

Cape kidnappersToday a highlight to remember – A round of golf at what the course designer Tom Doak describes as " If cape Kidnappers were a book it would be an epic. Enjoy your game and enjoy the setting because you may never play golf somewhere like this again" The goal in designing the course was to create interesting holes you wouldn't find anywhere else. That wasn't hard to do at Cape Kidnappers, because the site is not like anywhere else in golf. It's an overwhelming experience to stand up on the cliffs, 140 metres above sea level, and look out across the waves far below in Hawke Bay. Later in the day self drive the two and half hour drive over the stunning Napier / Taupo road to your tenth night’s accommodation in beautiful Taupo.

 

Day Eleven

wairakeiLocated in the heart of the North Island and set amongst the spectacular scenery of the Lake Taupo region, is the International Golf Course Wairakei. Where you will have the pleasure of playing this 18 hole championship golf course - rated by the Prestigious US Golf Digest magazine to be in the top 100 courses in the world outside of the USA in 2005. Designed by Commander John Harris, Michael Wolveridge and Peter Thomson with the aim of producing New Zealand's first internationally recognised golf course, there is little doubt in any New Zealanders mind that this trio exceeded all expectations. The end result is a course that sprawls over 450 acres of natural countryside. This coupled with the 6444 metres from the championship tees and 108 large well placed bunkers has led to worldwide acclaim.

 

Day Twelve

rotoruaAfter breakfast it is but a short drive to your next night’s accommodation and your next round of Golf – Rotorua with its unique volcanic landscape, living Maori culture, natural hot springs and plenty of options for adventure, Rotorua is one of New Zealand's most famous destinations. The region was the birthplace of New Zealand tourism in the 1800s, when people flocked here from around the world to see the amazing Pink and White Terraces - vast, naturally formed silica terraces that cascaded into a volcanic lake. The Te Arawa people were their local guides. The terraces were destroyed in the 1886 Mt Tarawera eruption, but Rotorua's fame as a fascinating travel destination continued to grow. Golf today is situated in picturesque Whakawerawera, Arikikapakapa is a full 18 hole all-weather links- One of the world's truly unique golf courses with steam vents and craters of geysers acting as natural hazards. An immaculately prepared, gently undulating course in the heart of New Zealand's thermal wonderland. The balance of your day is free to enjoy the many sights, sounds and smells this incredible town has to offer.

 

Day Thirteen

A few hours drive from Rotorua you are booked to play at Lakes Resort This is the result of single minded focus on the creation of a golf course which would be private and uninterrupted. Dedicated purely to he absolute love of the game.The golf course has received high recognition on it’s quality, course design and layout and playing surfaces that Lakes Resort has been accepted into the prestigious International Marketing and Promotional group called The Best of Golf New Zealand. Lakes Resort now stands alongside Kauri Cliffs, Cape Kidnappers, Terrace Downs, Wairakei Resort, Gulf Harbour, Formosa, Clearwater and Millbrook as one of the finest resort Golf Courses in the country. Play it to believe it!!!

 

Day Fourteen

gulf harbourToday after breakfast you travel to the world renowned golf resort, Gulf Harbour Lodge, Gulf Harbour Golf Course is the home of both the World Cup in 1998 and the NZ Golf Open in 2006, the pristine fairways and magnificent views are sure to impress. With native grasses and vegetation the golf course has a natural look and feel from start to finish. A true golfer's course, it is demanding and satisfying to play, offering variety hole by hole. The greens run true but with undulations that make "being below the hole" an imperative.

 

Day Fifteen

Formosa Golf Course has been developed as an international PGA standard Golf course. Formosa is listed in the "finest golf courses in the world" and has been developed as an International PGA standard Golf Course and was the venue for the 1998 New Zealand Open. From its cliff top and coastal fairways, the course has panoramic views of Waiheke Island, Rangitoto and the distant Coromandel peninsula. With hundreds of Pohutukawa trees having been planted alongside the fairways, Native Trees have been added along with 79 bunkers and over 1,000 mature Phoenix and Washingtonian Palms. At least 16 out of 18 holes have this beautiful north facing view of the Hauraki Gulf. Formosa Golf Resort course covers an area of 440 acres which makes it New Zealand's longest championship course at 6650 metres off the Pro (Black) Tees. The 18 hole golf course has been designed by Bob Charles and has a par of 72 which is longer than any other existing course in New Zealand. There are 4 tees per hole: forward, regular, championship, and professional; so that everyone can play and enjoy the course.

 

Day Sixteen

Today is your final round of Golf in New Zealand and as the perfect wind down you are booked in to play Remeura Golf course. Situated in the exclusive district of Auckland this is a championship course of the highest standard, Remuera’s beautiful surroundings provide an enjoyable test to golfers of all levels.
