New Zealand is blessed with literally hundreds of small courses and clubs tucked away in some of the most spectacular corners of our country.

Our "Gone Country" tour showcases some of these amazing courses which gives keen golfers an amazing weekend in the beautiful Hawkes Bay, 4 rounds of fantastic golf and all at an incredibly low price!

Day One

For your first round on your "gone country" tour you are invited to play at Waipukurau Golf Course. A flat, picturesque Central Hawkes Bay golf course - 18 holes situated on gently undulating old river terraces. A real joy to play surrounded by mature, tree-lined fairways and immaculate greens. Maybe finish you round at the 19th hole and catch up with some of the locals in there well equipped club house!

 Day Two

Today you are booked in to play at one of the Big Boy's team favorite "gone country" golf courses. Flemington. Situated approximately 20 km from your accomodation this is a real little beauty with the added attraction of grazing sheep, with well fenced greens!

Day Three

One km south of the historical village of Onga Onga and aprroximately 20 minutes form your accomodation is Onga Onga Golf Course. It is a picturesque course developed on land at the Forest Gate Domain. Some of the holes surround a cricket oval and picnic area. Although only 9 holes the positioning of difficult tees on the second nine add considerably to the variation of the course. It is well groomed and constantly maintained and considered one of the nicest 9 hole courses in New Zealand.

Day Four

For your last round on your "Gone Country" tour we head to the coast and play at the fantastic Porangahau Country Club which is situated right on the one of Central Hawkes Bay's most beautiful beaches. This is a true links type course open to the elements with superb sea views. The 19th hole at this venue is particularly pleasant and a great place to reminisce on your weekends play!
